Description

Small apple green sheaf like crystals of olivenite occur with yellow to  honey coloured beudantite on a quartzite matrix.

Some associated minerals include massive chalcocite and malachite. Some other unidentified minerals are also present in very small crystals.

Olivenite is a reasonably rare mineral from Broken Hill.
