Description

A micromount sized specimen of carrboydite from Western Australia. This deposit is renowned for some very rare minerals and is the type locality for widgiemoolthalite and gillardite. This specimen is covered in  a pale greeny coloured crust of bubbly carrboydite on a limonite /goethite rich matrix.

There is no damage. This specimen is best viewed with a microscope.
