Description
Locality:
Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
4.2 × 3.5 × 2.7 cm
Description

This is a lovely example of 'jack-straw' cerussite from Broken Hill. The 'straws' which form long fingers up to 2 cm long, are an off white colour and have that characteristic sheen as they are turned in the light. The specimen is well balanced and looks great from any angle. There is some matrix but it is largely hidden from view. Choice for its size.
