Description

A large lustrous single crystal on a gossan matrix. The crystal is very sharp and exhibits some multiple growths on the faces. There is very minor asociated malachite. A choice miniature.

This an old 19th century copper deposit that was re-worked in the 1990's by open cut. This specimen was collected during this latter period.
