Description

One of those must have minerals is Franklinite from this famous old mining district. This specimen features a 1cm well formed octahedral crystal nicely exposed in the calcite matrix. Other associated minerals include sphalerite and willemite.

Fluoresces beautifully and sits upright for display. Minor chipping to the large crystal but not seen when displayed.
