Description

Lustrous, radiating, pale blue scaly crystals up to 4mm occur accross the face of the matrix. Nice display specimen for this species and locality.

Sampleite - NaCaCu5(PO4)4Cl•5(H2O) is the phosphate analogue of Lavendulan. Named in honor of Matt Sample, Mine Superintendent for the Chile Exploration Company in 1921.
