Description

A veinlet sample containing crystallized  golden high metallic lustrous idiomorphic native bismuth shaped as feathers and pyramides within red quartz, socalled  "hornstein". Good visible occurre small idiomorphic bubbles of pitchblende between teh metallich bismuth crystals. One side has been sawn off to get polished but has not yet been done.

A real classic from the last mining period of the district as discribed also in Lapis 07-08 2005 (Schneeberg).

Quite hot, 21µSv/h. From Siegfried Flach collection.
