Description

Couple of twinned hexagonal crystals of Sanidine, pretty well defined, from Capo Sant'Andrea, Elba.

Sanidine is probably not the most known specie for Elba, more famous for its Elbaite, nevertheless was found in excellent samples in the locale.

The specimen dates back to the end of XIX century.
