Description

Rare kesterite crystals wide coated with green mushistonite on the side of matrix of mica.
History regarding kesterite in MT. Xuebaoding: this type of mineral was first found around 2002, at the beginning geologist thought this was a new mineral and names it pandanite after the Sichuan province where this mine located which also known as Panda country. With further international research geologist believe this actually was kesterite; just never find kesterite crystal with this size anywhere before and this typical locality mineral also coated with another rare mineral mushistonite and give the mineral with beautiful green color. Till today local miner and mineral dealer still use pandanite as the name for this mineral.
