Description

Colorless, waxy lustrous, lamellar aggregates (area 10x1 mm) of hartite on ex wood matrix. At Castelnuovo Mine, the mineral originally (1869) named bombiccite in honour of the Italian mineralogist Luigi Bombicci, was later found to coincide with hartite. Classic locality. Rare.
