Description

A singular specimen featuring a thin plate with several fibrous aggregates of yellow natrozippeite crystals with pink erythrite crystals on and with pale greenish yellow natrouranospinite crystals.

Natrouranospinite crystals form concentric bands surrounding the natrozippeite. The aggregates of natrouranospinite are very large for the species.

In addition, this strange association appears in the same place on both sides of the specimen.

Natrozippeite is a hydrated sodium uranyl sulfate hydroxide and natrouranospinite is a hydrated uranyl arsenate of sodium and calcium. Both are fluorescent under UV illumination.
