Description

A lovely thumbnail specimen of a Tsumeb classic of sharply formed dark blue azurite crystals. The two azurite crystals form a pleasing V-shape on the green malachite matrix. The azurite has great lustre and shows a stunning electric blue colour when backlit (first photo which was produced with just minor backlighting). A nice piece from the hayday of the Tsumeb Mine, added to the previous collection no later than 1968.
