Description

Fahleite (a Zn-Ca-Fe arsenate) is an extremely rare Tsumeb mineral only known from this locality worldwide, which is of course the type locality. This sample has been analyzed by IR spectroscopy and electron microprobe analysis by N.Chukanov, as it can be seen in the attached photo. It is a Ca-deficient variety of fahleite. The species was labeled as RRR! in Gebhard Tsumeb II book (single specimen !).
