Description

A cluster of octahedral fluorite crystals densely coated with chlorite(?). It was a very, very small find in June of this year and those few samples found have cracks. And this piece has a thin crack, but it is not continuous and not through. Chlorite is very rarely present in the Dalnegorsk deposits, and I see samples of this type for the first time. In addition to the octahedrons, there are also fluorite crystals of a cubic habit. Also here we see beautiful, transparent scepter-like quartz crystals. A rare and unusual specimen for this locality. There are two damaged crystals, but one of the damage was done when this piece was still underground, because the damaged area partially covered with chlorite. These damage are visible in the fifth and ninth picture.  This sample has a very good condition around the edges.
