Description

This is a very attractive and quintessential matrix ruby specimen from the Siberian Urals. The well-formed hexagonal ruby has the intense red color that is so desirable, and they are frozen in a metamorphic matrix. The largest crystal, which measures 1.3 cm across, is really attractive and has an intense, metallic glow on the basal faces. This is a balanced and aesthetic piece, and even better in person, where you can really appreciate the depth of the glow from the crystal.  Main crystal is perfect terminated.
