Description

A very recent find of world class witherite has been made at the Rosebery Mine in Tasmania. This specimen is comprised of blocky, hexagonal translucent to transparent witherite crystals in parallel growth. The color is a light yellowish green and the lustre is very good. There is also a good covering of very fine harmatome.
