Description

Thin basalt matrix with a nice coverage of light green apophyllite crystals from a classic Scottish zeolite locality. The apophyllite crystals may well be fluorapophyllite-(K), however that has not been confirmed

Also present on the specimen are small colouress chabazite and thonsonite crystals. There is also a second generation of smaller, colourless apophyllite crystals.

A rare find from a very difficult locality to collect at due to precipitous 240m high cliffs and dangerous tides.
