Description

A very rare locality example of elongated colourless scawtite crystals associated with milky white tobermorite and black spinel. Other unidentified species are also present on the specimen which comes from a locality which is recognized for the complex suite of calc-silicate minerals found there. The locality is a dolerite plug which has intruded the chalk country rock forming this unusual suite of minerals and is just a few miles away from Scawt Hill (Scawtite TL) which displays similar mineralisation.
