Description

A very nice example of beautifully formed, acutely terminated, dark blue vivianite crystals on thin matrix from this classic Canadian phosphate locality. The specimen dates back to 1986 when it was purchased by the late Harry Foy from The Philosophers Stone (original label supplied). Vivianite crystals from this remote Yukon locality are very rare, despite the wide variety of other phosphate minerals found there.
