Description

Basalt matrix with amygdales lined with bright orange gmelinite crystals and colourless analcime crystals. This specimen displays a rare occurence at the locality of the gmelinite crystals forming dense spherical aggregates of twinned crystals. This analcime crystals can appear green due to underlying spherical growths of saponite. Under magnification these can be clearly seen through the transparent analcime crystals.
