Description

A lovely classic Boltsburn example of dark brown siderite matrix with one side covered in fluorite crystals associated with small grey galena crystals. The fluorite crystals form 2 generations. The first are small, colourless transparent crystals whilst the second are larger violet coloured crystals with cloudy inclusions. Under both long and short wave UV light the fluorite crystals display the characteric Weardale bright fluorescence.
