Description

A fascinating specimen from a seldom offered locality. One face displays nice amber yellow fluorite crystals associated with small colourless quartz crystals. The rear of the specimen displays quartz and galena crystals with the galena crystals partially coated in yellow micro mimetite crystals and green annabergite crystals. The Murton Mine produced very few fluorite specimens, unlike its famous neighbour, the Hilton Mine. And even fewer of the fluorite specimens also displayed this additional suite of minerals. LC
