A unique specimen from the former gmelinite Type Locality displaying an amygdale in basalt matrix lined with small analcime crystals, coloured green by underlying saponite. On top of these have grown a lovely cluster of tabular, cream and orange coloured gmelinite crystals followed by a second generation of smaller cream coloured gmelinite crystals. Clusters of small calcite crystals finish off this attractive paragenesis. The specimen was collected by myself and was up until now in my personal collection.
