Description

Granite matrix with a miarolitic cavity lined with white orthoclase and albite crystals and smoky quartz crystals. There is also a small, but beautifully formed colourless topaz crystal positioned on the front edge of the cavity. It is most likely that the locality takes its name from these small, but bright topaz crystals, which are relatively uncommon at the locality. k3
