Description

Basalt matrix with 2 amygdales containing completely different gmelinite crystal habits. The larger amygdale contains orange gmelinite crystals in association with rosette clusters of colourless natrolite crystals. These gmelinite crystals display an unusual, almost phacolitic type habit. The smaller amygdale contains colourless gmelinite crystals of a blocky, tabular habit.
