Description

Limonitic matrix with one face showing an exceptionally rich coverage of bright green acicular malachite crystals. Jet black micro crystals of murdochite can be seen at the ends of many of the malachite crystals. This acicular habit is uncommon at the locality and this specimen was collected in 1937 by Arthur L Flagg, Arizona State Geologist who published many papers on Arizona minerals.
