Description

Basalt matrix with an amygdale 1.3cm wide lined with clear chabazite crystals and with a small, deep red cluster of thomsonite crystals. Thomsonite crystals occurring in the Antrim Basalt Formation are typically white to grey in colour although occasionally more colourful examples, such as this one, are found.
