Description

Basalt matrix with one face 6cm x 7cm covered with a suite of zeolite minerals. The order of crystallization appears to have been saponite/ calcite - thomsonite/ mesolite inter-growth - transparent chabazite crystals showing a very unusual habit/ twinning - frosted trapezoidal analcime crystals.
