Description

This is a 4 mineral combo and an excelent manganese mineral specimen from the Kalahari Manganese Fields. Todorokite forms very good, cm long black acicular crystals frozen into transparent gypsum. Gaudefroyite forms black free-standing, prismatic crystals on gypsum with fine coverage of biege coloured, micaceous bementite. Unfortunately some of the gaudefroyite crystals are damaged.
