Description

Very rare sodium-vanadate mineral bannermanite forms small black acicular crystals in association with schäferite, rich coverage of tiny black octahedral trevorite on one side, rusty red coatings of very tiny acicular needles of barnesite, some liebenbergite crystals and white-colorless nosean, on slag matrix. Schäferite is a very rare vanadium bearing garnet group mineral, forms dark brown crystals and masses. Very rich piece and an interesting combination of rare vanadium minerals.
