Description

Very rich specimen of rare Fluorbritholite-(Ce) in association with Allanite-(Ce). Fluorbritholite-(Ce) forms purplish brown masses rimmed by black Allanite-(Ce), in beige coloured feldspar (pegmatite) matrix. Confirmed material, the tests shows that fluorbritholite-(Ce) also contains submicroscopic grains of fluorite and uraninite. The specimen is moderately radioactive.
