Description

Type and two locality mineral mallestigite from Austria. This is a lead-antimony-sulfate-arsenate species, occurs as colourless, prismatic crystals and sprays on quartzite matrix. Associating minerals are green botryodal bayldonite, white paralell platy schultenite and minor anglesite. The second occurence of mallestigite is located in the Schwaz -Brixlegg area, in Austria too.
