Description

Behounekite is a new uranium-sulfate mineral from Jachymov. It forms green short prismatic, slightly rounded crystals on weathered arsenic matrix. Behounekite was found undergorund in a small pocket with another new species Stepite, about 30 years ago. Behounekite speciemsn are more rare than Stepite regarding to the verbal information of czech mineral collectors.
