Description

Thsi is a Type Locality specimen of mallestigite from Austria. Mallestigite is a lead-antimony-sulfate-arsenate species, occurs as colourless, prismatic crystals and sprays on quartzite matrix. Associating minerals are green botryodal bayldonite, white anglesite and pale greenish/pale brown aggregates of shulenite. This is a two locality mineral, the second occurence of mallestigite is located in the Schwaz -Brixlegg area, in Austria too.
