Description

This is an incredibly rare specimen of the species Spertiniite, named after the longtime chief mine geologist of the Jeffry Mine, Quebec, Francesco Spertini.

Intensely ink-blue globular crystallized aggregates all over the specimen from the historic mining area Linares in Spain.

Spertiniite was confirmed by PXRD and EDS microprobe
