Description

One of those one time finds.

Between 1996 and 1999 these pieces came out of this famous canadian mine. They believed it was prehnite. But then they were checked and they proved to be lavenderpinkish colored suolunite.

An incredible find because suolunite was known only as micromounts and as a rockforming mineral. When backlighted they are translucent. Since 1999 no more pieces of this rare mineral was found. This find delivered the best pieces of suolunite by a magnitude.
