Description

Tooeleite is a very rare Iron-Arsenite-Sulfate and only found at a very few locations in the world.

This is a very good specimen of beautiful orange colored microcrystals of tooeleite on quartz matrix with tiny scorodite crystals.

Only very few specimen were found at the location.

EDS / SEM confirmed specimen.

A new article about the Alcantarilla Mine was recently published in the Mineralogical Magazine "MineralUp" and "Revista de Minerales" (10.2016) and I can send a copy of this article to the buyer (on request).
