Description

This is a beautiful old, honey brown fluorite specimen from the famous Grube Roland near Wölsendorf in Germany.

Grube Roland was famous for deep violet to black fluorite - called "Stinkspat" and for intense honey brown fluorite crystals. The mine was closed in 1961 therefor it is very hard to get specimens from this mine nowadays.
