Description

Wilhelmgümbelite is a brandnew mineral from the famous Hagendorf Pegmatite. Wilhelmgümbelite is related to schoonerite - an oxidized form of schoonerite with Mn2+ largely replaced by Fe3+.

Wilhelmgümbelite shows yellow-brown to orange-red, lathlike crystals on mitridadite matrix.

Without analytic it is not possible to differ between the minerals of the "schoonerite group".
