Description

A rare and very good specimen of deep violet chromian clinochlore from Urals Region.

Specimen was collected 1827 and stored in the famous Rijksmuseum, Stockholm. At that time the mineral was named "Kotschubeit"

1862 described Nikolai Koksharov this interesting mineral in his publication "Über den Kotschubeit, eine neue Klinochlorart".
