A rare and excellent pseudomorph from Germany. Up to 4 cm, sharp, lustrous, brick-red hematite after calcite scalenohedron is nicely set in matrix. This is classic, old-time material from the iron mines at Iserlohn, Sauerland. Very rare, today, to see on the market. From the collection E. Noske, Hamburg; Dr. Georg Gebhard and finally Hartmann.With several old labels.
