Strunzite Laueite & Pseudolaueite

Classic Locality

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Hagendorf South Pegmatite, Bavaria, Germany
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
6.7 × 4.8 × 3 cm
Description

A really exceptional specimen even though I don't trust the original label in parts. Whereas it says "beraunite, cacoxenite, strengite, laueite, pseudolaueite" I think there's probably no cacoxenite and the major mineral is strunzite. However it's a great strunzite. If there is beraunite it's even greater, but I don't see it. I'm sure about the laueite. And there's rockbridgeite or another black mineral.

An analyzing adventure.
