Malachite Psm Azurite With Wulfenite

Pseudomorph

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Whim Creek Mine, Pilbara, Western Australia, Australia
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
6.2 × 4.2 × 4.2 cm
Description

Very interesting specimen. First there are the well-known pseudomorphs of malachite after azurite crystals. Then there are little malachite balls and balls of a much lighter green mineral which I suspect to be duftite. Last but not least there is a tiny but perfect wulfenite crystal. All of this on a goethite matrix.
