Description

An incredibly astonishing specimen, which deserves a closer look. The base is a group of double-terminated, a bit milky rock crystals with a reverse sceptre - and it is a floater. On top of it, two or three dozens of very pale blue fluorite crystals - a bit 'rounded', almost botryoidal - are spread over two sides of the specimen. Naturally, those are very hard to photograph, so the contrast of the closeup pictures is strongly enhanced and they are depicted very dark. Also, there are very few, microscopic pyrite crystals on the fluorite, which makes them appear a bit 'dirty'. In nature the specimen is a clean, very bright wonder with no damage worth mentioning. Except maybe for a bit of micro-chipping on one quartz crystal, easily to be overseen. Did I mention the size and crystal size of this? - Quite impressive, don't you think?

I think the specimen is much better in nature, simply beautiful.
