Description

A very interesting specimen. Double-terminated white crystals - presumably pale (manganoan) calcite or kutnohorite - grow on elongated, well-colored pink rhodochrosite crystals. As an extra bonus you'll get dark moss-green, hoppered pseudomorphs of unidentified minerals. I'd guess it's chlorite or hedenbergite after galena or hydroxyapophyllite-(k) or it's hoppered chalcophanite, maybe after mimetite or pyromorphite? I can have it analyzed, if you like. Wouldn 't cost much ...

Not pictured: lots of hydroxyapophyllite-(k) (more likely) or calcite crystals on the back.

A real unique specimen. Weight including the acrylic base it's mounted on.
