Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico

Combination
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
3.4 × 2.5 × 1.5 cm
Description

Very interesting specimen. Some of the yellow legrandite crystals in the vugs look like they've growsn in brown limonite 'shells'. I guess it's a double pseudomorph of legrandite after limonite after köttigite. Also quite interesting: pinkish (cobaltoan?) smithsonite crystal groups alongside the legrandite.
