Heringen, Kassel Region, Hesse, Germany
Class:
Massive/Crystalline
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
5.3 × 2.6 × 2 cm
Description

One of the most beautiful dark blue halite specimen with gas-bubbles in water-inclusions (= enhydro) that I ever had. A well-visible bubble is moving freely in an L-shaped channel with every move. I was so fascinated by the blue lightning reminiscent color-structures that I forgot to adjust them. While the bright blue is pretty correct, in nature the dark parts shine deep amethyst-purple with back lighting. There seems to be another little gas bubble, but I can see no movement on this one.
