Description

A giant and wonderful plate of so-called 'feather pyrite' - a pseudomorph after pyrrhotite, with massy dolomite. It is very hard to photograph this material nicely. My pictures don't do it justice. In nature it's 100% better, silvery and more glossy. If you get it and you're disappointed (I guarantee, you won't be) I'll take it back anytime. I just offer it, because my collection is taking another direction now.

This material is becoming scarce, because it's used for jewelry. And as far as I know it's only nown from this one locality. You won't find another plate of this size anywhere else.

For several regions postage would be a little higher. Please enquire for final shipping fees.
