Description

A first-day cover from the German Democratic Republic (GDR/DDR), stamped 1965, issued to celebrate 200 years of the mining academy Freiberg. Letter with nice mining motifs. Three stamps with mining and smelter motifs (proustite, Sulphur, smelter). Very good condition. The paper of the envelope is just very little yellowish with a minor stain. Letter was opened, of course. Stamps are in very good condition as far as I can tell.
