Pseudomorph

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Lupoto Mine, Kakumba, Kipushi, Haut-Katanga, DR Congo
Class:
Combination
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
6.5 × 4.5 × 4 cm
Description

Very rare 'double- or triple-pseudomorph'/epimorph. Little turquoise colored chrysocolla crystals cover turquoise colored cgrysocolla with a malachite core. Mindat entry suggests it's a triple pseudomorph after malachite after azurite.

Anyway, it's rare, unique and very beautiful, this specimen specially well colored, much stronger in nature than it appears on those pictures.

No disturbing damage. Very aesthetic.
